Bloomingdale’s Holiday windows will be unveiled November 19, 2013 at 5:30pm

In the past, Bloomingdale’s has broken from tradition and displayed an electronic video  window. We wonder what the theme will be for the 2013  windows. What we DO know is that Josh Groban will be performing live at the Bloomberg Courtyard along with the New York City Children’s Chorus. Following the performance you can grab a copy of Josh’s latest album and have it signed by him inside the store.

Saks Fifth Avenue  Holiday Windows will be unveiled November 25, 2013 at 5:30pm

Combining the elements of fashion and holiday cheer, Saks Fifth Avenue’s annual Christmas window is always a big draw. This year, the theme is Snowflake Spectacular, which will include a dramatic 3D, state-of-the-art light show projected on the facade of the building. According to Harry Cunningham, SVP Store Planning and Visual Merchandising, “The windows are inspired by snowflakes, snow and how children interact with snow”. The six featured windows will tell the story of “Yeti”, who is rumored to live on the roof of the Saks Fifth Avenue store where he makes snow during the holiday season. The window unveiling ceremony entertainment will include Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell, singer Frankie Moreno and the Young People’s Chorus of New York City and “Carol of the Bells” peformed by dancers from the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre.
