The Lens and Life of Homai Vyarawalla
This exhibition presents the photography of India’s first female photojournalist from the late 1930s to 1970. She documented key events from the generation around Independence, including the historic meeting of Gandhi and the Congress Committee on the 1947 plan for partition, as well as visits to India by Queen Elizabeth, Jacqueline Kennedy, Ho Chi Minh, and others. *FREE* Admission on Friday’s from 6pm-10pm.
