Three conductors will lead various choruses through a program of vocal music: The National Festival Chorus will perform works by Dickau, Stroope and Eric Whitacre. The National Children’s Festival Chorus will perform works by Vivaldi and Dillworth. Finally, the New York City Chamber Orchestra and the Masterworks Festival Chorus will perform Mozart’s enigmatic Requiem.

Led by Israeli-born Artistic Director Zvi Gotheiner, ZviDance will premiere DABKE, a contemporary dance inspired by this ancient Middle-Eastern folk dance. Arabic for “stomping the ground,” Dabkeis the national dance of Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and Palestine; Israelis have their own version.
