The Metropolitan Opera’s Live in HD Encore Series: Wagner’s Complete Four Part Ring Series

Beginning May 9, you can see Robert Lepage’s Met’s Live in HD presentation of Wagner’s four-part Der Ring des Nibelungen as a complete cycle in movie theaters.  Met Music Director James Levine conducts the first two installments, Das Rheingold and Die Walküre, and Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi is on the podium for Siegfried and Götterdämmerung. The all-star cast includes Deborah Voigt, Stephanie Blythe, Jay Hunter Morris, Jonas Kaufmann, and Bryn Terfel.
